For example, you could respond to emails in batches, schedule calls back-to-back, or set time aside for more indepth work and turn your notifications off when you do it. 

This way of working doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve got to work longer hours, but it can definitely make the time you do spend online feel much more productive and less all over the place. 

Make Use Of Flexible Working 

Another factor is flexibility – a lot of people now work from home or other locations, and being able to access systems in a reliable way is massively important. When you’ve got good, consistent connections, it’s easier to pick up where you left off without losing momentum, and that can make all the difference.
